Well, I've never attempted to blog before (except in Spanish class, but that doesn't really count) so I don't know how this is supposed to work. I guess I just type something that hopefully someone will actually want to read and wait to reap the rewards which are.....well, I don't really know. I don't even know the purpose of this blog, it's called Life's Curiosities (for lack of a better name) and I am rather curious as to what its purpose will evolve to be. I'm thinking that I'll just post a question that is confusing to me about life and try to work it out with the opinions of others. Hmm, that could work...maybe. I think I'll just run out of things to say though.
Anyway, my question today is, "Why Do I Have a Blog?" Am I really that self-centered to think that people will actually take time out of their day to read a post that I have written out of boredom? I mean, are blogs supposed to be moral boosters or something? I've never really gotten the whole idea of them, but yet there's a strange delight in believing that people want to hear what you have to say. So yeah, let me know what you think. Does Facebook serve the same purpose? Are blogs interesting to you?
Blogging isn't about what other people think, or if they read it or not. It's about what YOU choose it to be. There's no purpose, no cause{well, unless you really do make it for a cause} and it's for you. If it wasn't, you wouldn't write, it's human nature. We don't do things willingly on our own for no reason if we don't like it. Right? Sure, it's a good feeling in you that people may check in to see what your doing. But mainly, I think it's just something to do for yourself{well, everybody} it's another thing to check off on your "life's to do" list, it's personal enjoyment. Well, in my opinion anyways. :) But blogging is about anything, ANYTHING you want it to be. So make it what you want, and just write, or post, about whatever. :)

Your amazing photography blog inspired me and sparked my interest in art, so thanks for that too! :) By the way, you are an incredible photographer!!! Why didn't you tell me? I spend like 10 min looking at "fat cat photography" with my mouth open in awe. You have serious skill Delaney. Will you take my senior photo? (I'm not joking by the way)
